Time in the life of an Angel...

Wow things have been so busy lately! Time has been swept away as if it were a grain of sand on a distant beach...2006 was a year of change for me, I simply will never be the same after such an impacting year such as this. I learned how to grieve, give, love and laugh even in the midst of troubled times. Last year (2005)I lost two very close family friends, my great grandfather and then on Dec 1st, I lost a childhood friend and four days after Christmas lost my baby cousin Chloe. To add it all up my Uncle Kevin, her father, was serving in Iraq. I was certain this next year was going to be a horrible one considering the struggles that had already begun. But God was gracious. Despite the set backs, this year has birthed a new understanding and appreciation for the beautiful things that surround my being each and everyday.
I started an incredible job at HealthNet as a multi product rep. It is a challenging job but something I definitely have the opportunity to advance in very quickly.
My drama experiences have been simply inspirational, I have written a total of 5 new sketches and dramatic interpretations this year and am in the midst of creating a book for others to purchase and perform.
"Let's practice that pretty smile" has become a known phrase with me lately. I am thrilled to announce my newest project, photography. And with the holidays, WOW it has been so busy!
Jennifer Butts, a Godly woman and mentor of mine gave birth to four premature babies in March of this year and unfortunately three were taken home to be with Jesus, but the one remaining has been a fighter! Carisse Lynn has become so dear to my heart, and from the first moment I laid eyes on her at two pounds in the NICU I fell in love and claimed that little one. She is doing so wonderful, God has brought her through the test of time and she has survived with His love and grace! =) I can not wait to see her again! Please continue to pray for her!*pictured to the left
Well I did it!! I passed my Psychology class with a beautiful A!! I was extatic when I received my transcript! I had an incredible professor as well as some outstanding peers to help me out! Rogers, Freud, Ellis, Adler, and so many others as well as their therapies will forever be embedded into my memory! =)
Well, God has been so good to me this year! Sunday December 31st we will be moving into our New Sanctuary! The devil has fought hard, but God stands in VICTORY! I am so excited and could not think of a better way to end this year! I could go on and on sharing with you all the exciting things of 2006, but this post has already exceeded its limit! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I am praying that God blesses you in this New Year above and beyond all that you could ever ask or think! I love you all and am praying daily for the incredible people He has placed in my life!
Once again, A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS!

Friends are a gift from God

It has been months since my dearest friend Vivien has returned home to her birth counrty Germany. She came not knowing anyone, and left knowing everyone. Drawn by her smile and simple outgoing personality Viv and I clicked. We made the best memeories within the first few days. We chased pigs together, walked llamas, practically destroyed a house and had the time of our lives! Vivien recieved the Holy Ghost a few months after her settling in with the Bolding Family, and has grasped the relationship with her creator in a way I have never seen before. She is a soul winner and a true believer in Romans 6:8, Not ashamed of the Gospel!! Viv their is so much to say about such a dear friend, you have inspired me and encouraged me in more ways than one! I will forever miss you and those absolutely crazy, splendid times we spent together. Hurry up and come Home!! =)

In honor of a Mother

Mother-More than just a Name

Sis. Wilson, myself and Sis. Young

Each of us have one, many are one and everyone needs one. A mother is an integeral part of our everyday being. From the moment of our conception a mother begins to prepare for this life long goal, raising the best you. Our mothers wear many hats, often changing from moment to moment, wife to her husband, keeper of her home, and a nurse to comfort both our physical and physcological hurts and fears. Mother is more than just a name, she is a comfort, a gentle listener and most of all, your best friend. She is a strong tower in the middle of a storm and the fundamental element that holds the family together.

It has been said that what shows on the outside is what is happening on the inside. A mother prepares her home, decorating and organizing, adding her gentle touch to the outside appearance of love and care. She daily washes dishes, does laundry, makes beds, irons, prepares meals, and tends to the needs of not only her family, but those around her. She is seamstress to missing buttons and holes in the knees of your favorite jeans. Mother works daily to add comfort and warm fragrance of brownies and milk after your long day out in the world. She adds her fingerprints to our lives, praying daily for the Heavenly Father to guide and protect us as she ushers us out each day with a tender kiss on our cheek.

As children our imaginations tend to lead us into believing we are famous airline pilots, the first astronaut to land on the moon, a rodeo cowboy, a princess in training, a soldier in a far away country and Miss Betty Crocker Jr. But in the midst of the couch cushions, kitchen table, and mothers high heel shoes, accidents happen. Cowboy tripped on a stone chasing Indian and scrapped his knee, and who else but Dr. Mom could possibly come to the rescue. Mother is a tender to our childhood scrapes and bruises and a mender to our teenage heartbreaks and friendships. She is like a warm blanket and a cup of hot cocoa on a cold winter night. She is the one by our bedsides with a steaming bowl of soup and a calming song on her lips; reassuring us that everything will be all right if we just leave it in the hands of someone more capable.

A puzzle is not quite complete unless each piece fits together. A milk shake would not be as sweet and perfect unless the ice cream was added. Our flag would not wave as proudly if the stars had been removed. Just is the same with our mothers, she is the glue that keeps us all together. She is the missing piece, the component that makes us all complete. Without her influence and support we would never be the individual she set out to create. Each story we tell, and each memory we create shapes us and forms us, developing our habits and traditions. My mother is my strength, my comfort, the one I turn to when it hurts. She has always been there, and I know no matter what she will continue to fight for me, even if it means she must first lay down her life in exchange for my own.

Mark King-6.5 Billion Worlds

Bro Mark King, a young man who has a passion for the lives and "worlds" around him, from Calgary, Alberta Canada preached an impacting message last night at our mid week service! " For God so loved my world..." Before HIM my world was formless, void, empty and dark, but He loved my world enough to transform it and live amongst it! (Paraphrasing) "Tears filled my eyes, as I watched millions of worlds pass by below, as I stood on a friends balcony today. Millions of worlds just like mine, all spinning together, but some will never make it through this month, some of their worlds will spin out of control never knowing the love and grace and forgiveness I know and experience each and every day!!... If only we, who know HIS Love and HIS grace, could have the passion to feel what they are feeling, the pain they experience all the time! There are over 6.5 BILLION people on this earth today, we can't save them all, but can't we do our part to reach at least half. "Hell hath enlarged herself..." Its getting bigger and bigger each and every day. Hundreds of worlds have spun out into eternity just in these few short moments, what are we doing to reach them, what are we doing to touch a lost and dying world!"

It touched me so deeply! Reaching down deep inside, to a tender place in my heart! I want to do all I can to touch someone else's world, to see them smile again, to hear them laugh again, to know they have the same opportunity to enter into the Holy of Holies as I do! Does someone Love Jesus enough to tell someone elses world that He lived and gave HIS everything for them!

How many of these 6.5 Billion worlds do you see, touch, and come in contact with EVERYDAY? What are doing to change the cycle and pull their world into your galaxy?

Sweet baby of ivory and green
Hazel locks of curls and eyes of the sea
So far away, yet so near
Tears of sorrow with tears of love
Our sleeping baby of joy

Tell us; tell us all the beauty you see
The melodies you hear
And the aroma that fills the air
Whisper the words in the wind
Fill us with smiles again
Ask Him to let the sunshine play
Sweet beauty please visit us today

Weep for me no more
Coco’s with you forever more
So many were miles away
Please understand
I can be with you all today

There’s no pain here
Oh, nothing to hurt me
His sweet kisses have awakened me
And I can sing once more

There’s streets of gold and rubies
With an angel choir
That sounds so lovely
The very best you’ve ever heard

He gave me a halo of flowers
The most divine
That smells so pretty
All the time

And there are too many steps to count
Big ones and little ones
As far as the eye can see
Me and Jesus already reached infinity

There’s kisses and hugs everyday
And miles of dirt fields for me to play
I have tubs of every color
Oh, how I wish you could see
The sand castles we’ve made
Jesus and me

Mommy, Daddy he did it
Just for me
He let me help him make the snow
That reminded you so much of me
And he even let me write my name on each one
Each shape he fashioned with his own hand
Directing each one where they should land

My sweetest sisters
There are so many trees
With birds and animals
As far as you can see
Jesus tells the most wonderful stories
And tucks me tenderly in
Singing a melody only Heaven has heard and only Heaven can make
He said we can color the sunset when you come
And even sing with the sun

My best friend, my brother, my twin
Oh, how I miss you and long to be together again
From the beginning we did it together
We laughed; we played and had so much fun
There’s bubble baths and candy
Hide-n-seek valleys and yes, even a Christmas tree for you to climb
I gave you my all, make me proud my love

Oh, my time was short
I know it seems
But if you only knew what lies ahead
Those of you who shared my laughs, my kisses, my love
And even those who hadn’t
Look for them always
In the sunshine, the wind, the rain and the snow

Jesus holds me and loves us all
He is perfect and merciful still
I’ve seen Papa, Auntie Carm, and even lil John
All those who have gone on before
They send their love and kisses
Oh, wait till you see what they have in store

The day is coming soon when we all shall gather at his throne
And worship at His precious feet
And rest sweetly on his crystal shore

Be ready Mommy
Hear His call Daddy
Grandma, aunties, uncles, and cousins I love
Listen closely He’s calling you home

Thank you, Thank you for teaching me to love the “Sun”!
I love you more than words can say
Thank you for letting me fly today

Forever and Always - Your Sonna Bella,

Sleeping Baby of Beauty
