C & C Invade Downtown Sac

Thursday evening the C & C group met at Bikes and Bites on 12th St for a night on wheels. First stop Luigi's-Pizza by the slice.
Here we are the fearless Bikers! Brand New Beachcruisers! A smooth ride....well except when Leader of the Pack Daniel Budda decided to take a "short cut" through the park.

Joey and I were a little excited for frozen yogurt!

Did you kow that YoGo Yogurt makes you BIG and Strong?! Nether did I...I do know it makes ya CrAzY!! =) I had to show Joey who was boss...hehe Joey and I also rode the Tandum(however you spell it) its the 2 person bicyle. It was fun, but kinda scary with me on the back unable to see and the crazy driver(Joey) in the front. Sorry there is no pic, I'm kinda bummed, but someone, Joey, was being un-photogenic at the moment so this memory will forever be lost on film~!

Sarah took some great shots....Click on link below for more pics!

The most Incredible....

GUY EVER! Joseph Uriah =)

Joey took me miniture golfing a few weeks back with some friends and I forgot I had a pic...We had such a great time! This last weekend we went to the California State Fair with his parents and that too was priceless...I'm missing him REALLY badly right now if you can't tell....its hard having your boyfriend, esp your BEST friend gone 4 days out of the week, I don't think I could stand a long distance relationship any more than this, I'd go crazy =)lol

Just had to post something to let you all know I'm still around-so a pic of the bestest friends in the world will do...right?! hehe...

God has blessed me with such an incredible friend! Joey has been my best guy friend for the past at least 3 years. We shared everything together, boys I was kinda keeping my eye on and girls that caught his attention, life, job stuff, you name it we talked about it. We told everyone we would never be interested in each other in any other way than a true friend. But you see God had other plans. Both Joey and I are thankful for WISE parents ad ministry who seek only the best for us and have guided us with their Godly council. Though we do not know what is in store for our future, we pray DAILY for God's direction, anointing, and protection. He brought us together in friendship and in His timing into a deeper walk together and there is no telling where He will take us! So we wait on Him and place Him first in our personal lives, and in our relationship!

>>> TASTE MY JESUS<<<

At the University of Chicago Divinity School each year they have what is called "Baptist Day." On this day each one is to bring a lunch to be eaten outdoors in a grassy picnic area. Every "Baptist Day" the school would invite one of the greatest minds to lecture in the theological education center.
One year they invited Dr. Paul Tillich. Dr.Tillich spoke for two and one-half hours proving that the resurrection of Jesus was false. He quoted scholar after scholar and book after book. He concluded that since there was no such thing as the historical resurrection the religious tradition of the church was groundless, emotional mumbo-jumbo, because it was based on a relationship with a risen Jesus, who, in fact never rose from the dead in any literal sense. He then asked if there were any questions.
After about 30 seconds, an old, dark skinned preacher with a head of short-cropped, woolly white hair stood up in the back of the auditorium. "Docta Tillich, I got one question," he said as all eyes turned toward him. He reached into his sack lunch and pulled out an apple and began eating it. "Docta Tillich.. CRUNCH, MUNCH "My question is a simple question,... CRUNCH, MUNCH... "Now, I ain't never read them books you read..CRUNCH, MUNCH.." and I can't recite the Scriptures in the original Greek...CRUNCH, MUNCH ..." I don't know nothin' about Niebuhr and Heidegger...CRUNCH, MUNCH...He finished the apple. "All I wanna know is: This apple I just ate, . . . . . . was it bitter or sweet?
Dr Tillich paused for a moment and answered in exemplary scholarly fashion: "I cannot possibly answer that question, for I haven't tasted your apple." The white-haired preacher dropped the core of his apple into his crumpled paper bag, looked up at Dr. Tillich and said calmly, "Neither have you tasted my Jesus."
The 1,000 plus in attendance could not contain themselves. The auditorium erupted with applause and cheers. Dr. Tillich thanked his audience and promptly left the platform.

An she writes again...

Well once again its been awhile! =) Sorry! If you're a student, attend a happenin church, living on your own, working or in "deep like" lol...., you can relate to the fact as to why I've been so busy. School is going great, just pray for me, they are all adults and are not ashamed of their personal, should be private, life styles. Its a challenge, but I'm enjoying the work. I work part time at a water store filling bottles and bagging ice. Simple, but great when it comes to homework. =)

Well, I only had a moment, but I had to post and let everyone know I'm still alive...Below is an interesting fact that I just learned, I'm sure its common knowledge, but it struck me as something inspirational esp. considereing Proverbs 29:18 .
What a concept and what an incredible God.

FACT: Where there is no light, there is no vision!
BIBLE: Where there is no vision the people perish!
