Update on Bri!!

For those of you who have been reading my blog for at least a year will remember me asking for prayer for a a friend of mine by the name of Bri Hoffer. A precious young lady who was diagnosed with a rare cancer in March of 2007. She is doing well in treatment and God has His hand on her life.

I can't get it out of my mind!!

The thought keeps coming to me...over and over it rings in my mind, my heart, the core of my being....WHAT is the PURPOSE of living for God?....WHY did God save you or me?....but most of all WHAT is it that keeps you running? Especially when everyone else gives up?....I know why I keep pressing, why I keep striving...I got it for myself...

Tell me what was the defining moment in your life or the reason you made up in your mind, no matter the storm, the climb, the depressing situation, I will cling to His hand and say "above all else, I must be saved!"

I did it...

After a year of absence and criticism from my peers and pastor I finally picked my lazy self up and rejoined our mass choir! Go ahead and say it, "FINALLY!!!" That is all I have heard for the last week! =) To tell you the truth I really don't know why I took a break...but I am now more excited than ever and am looking forward to what 2008 has in store for the TRC choir!!

Jordan's Birthday Party!

Well, the 14th was quite a night! After work I headed out to Roseville to John's Incredible Pizza with my family!!! Jordan got to invite one friend since it was his big day. So our family, Saige and Booker chowed down some "incredible" pizza while watching some "incredible" Motorcross biking stunts and then headed over to where the action was, the Arcade!!! We played about every game in the place, we bowled and even rode the kiddy roller coaster! =) And of course screamed the whole time!

It was a great night though, even after having to say good bye to our Daddy at the airport-he is headed off to welcome his brother back to the states after being stationed in Japan for a few years. Jordan went home with a smile and TONS of gifts, but like the rest of us, ready for bed!

Chris and I tied on the motorcycle race-I ripped my skirt on a sharp turn! Too bad they don't give tickets or we would be loaded!
